Sketchcrawl #22
This time the Stockholm crowd (of three) decided to hit Arlanda Airport for our Sketchcrawl day. A big airport is great for drawing people and strange technical stuff, and we had a great day with lots of drawing challenges. And coffee.
(Curious about why we had a sketchcrawl on the 4th of April instead of the official 11th? Well, us Swedes celebrate Easter (and Christmas, and just about every other big holiday) on the Eve before the actual Day, and the 11th of April was the day when all Swedes went to their relatives to eat eggs. No one had time to go on a Sketchcrawl then, so we sneakily changed the date...)
13 x 18 cm, except the last drawing, 13 x 7 cm. Copic Multiliner SP on sketchbook pages.

Enjoyed your sketches. You may have had a good idea about changing the date to earlier. Everyone was busy here, too, getting ready for Easter Egg hunts, family dinners, travel, etc. So, I ended up by myself.
Fabulous sketches, the sirport was a great location for a sketchcrawl.
You're really excellent at this and the result is a great arrangement!
Great sketches! I have admired your buildings, etc. You do great people too. I've drawn in airports too. The people don't stay put. You have a few silhouettes with hands - is that generally how you capture the entire individual quickly and fill in the details later, or was that just for style?
wow! A whole bunch of serious looking people!! ^^
The sketch of the planes is super awesome! I like planes!
Great sketches! Especially of the airplanes - all those perfectly straight windows! The people sketches are awesome too. Something I need a lot of practice with.
Thanks for your comments.
@Dan: I don´t always do a silhouette with hands like that to capture people quickly, it´s just that these particular people were sitting like that for a while, and I thought the hands were what gave them a relaxed look.
Thank you.
Jättefina, hoppas att jag kan hänga på nästa gång
Oh wow! These are great! I can't believe these are all just sketches, for me to produce this quality of work I would have to work for a while not just attend a quick sketch session, lol! Keep up the great work :) , I much enjoy stopping by and seeing you crayon pieces.
Loved seeing these sketches - airports are always great places for people watching.
Beautiful captures Nina...so masterful. :)
