That tree again

Uhm... well, I don´t have much to say about this. I just kind of liked the tree from yesterday, and decided to let it grow.

15 x 20,5 cm, Lamy Safari with Noodler´s Lexington Gray ink, pencil and watercolours in very cheap sketchbook.

I came from EDM to see your third day of december challenge (which is fantastic) and found this wonderful watercolor. So glad I stopped by - this is a terrific piece! Is there a story to go with it?

Wonderful! Wonderful! This has so much character and I love the glow behind the tree. Not to mention the blackbird.

Beautiful, I could see this in a children's book!

Nina, can I ask, is the detail on the bird done with pencil or brush? The textures on that and the bark are amazing.

Love the sun, the tree, the bird. I wonder why the bird is on the ground rather than on a branch in the tree (in a narrative way, not in a "why did she paint it like this" way).

This is wonderful! I especially love the shape of the tree and the rays of light. Your drawings from imagination are really inspiring.

This tree is stunning with the light from behind...I can't possibly do something like this from imagination!
