A day by the sea

Spent a few hours by the sea, and brought my pen and watercolours with me. Don´t you just love lying on the cliffs by the sea on a sunny day? It must be one of the best things you can do on a day like this...

21 x 16 cm, Lamy Safari with Noodler´s Lexington gray ink and watercolours on Canson Montval paper in a handbound sketchbook.

A nice capture of your day...The colors you used here are so refreshing and cooling...a wonderful escape for me from the heat and the blistering sun of the desert...I can only imagine how it felt to be there...Ahhh!

This is so peaceful and relaxing. I want to climb over the rocks to see what I can see.

This is really wonderful. I have such a hard time capturing rocks! That sounds so silly but they are challenging, any tips, yours are great.

You really captured a beautiful day. I never get tired of looking at your work. Yesterday I was lucky enough to get a peek at your traveling sketchbook at Ronell's - your work is really stunning, and so are the additions by everyone else. I think you'll be thrilled with it.
I've nominated you for an award on my blog. I know how busy you are, so please feel free to ignore it if you want!

Nina, I have nominated you for the Brillante Weblog award. When you have time you can go to http://www.douglasthayer.blogspot.com to get the image. Your work is inspiring to me. I love your use of colors and the subject matter of buildings, old and new.

Cliffs?...erm...No, not really...I'd much rather lie on soft, warm, sand if I'm honest looking out onto cliffs. LOL!

Boy I'm glad you do enjoy it though because these are just beautiful Nina!
