Midsummer

Midsummer Eve in Sweden. Everybody hopes to achieve total happiness and 100 % sunshine on this day, but I actually had a few drops of rain when I went out to draw just nearby where I live. The happiness level is ok, though. :)

12,5 x 17 cm, Lamy Safari with Noodler´s Lexington gray ink and watercolours on sketchbook page.

You've got the heavy foliage and solidity of everything beautifully here and still kept the differentiation - lovely :>)

Your watercolours are always amazingly beautiful. Do you have any tips or advise you could give me to help?

Beautiful and so well done as always. I've printed the picture out on my computer and am holding it to my forehead in the hope that some of your technique will seep into my brain.

Hi Nina, and I love this painting. I've been showing my FPP book around and your Swedish Island is very popular.
Nina, I can't find your email address and I want to send you information about a show for the FPP books. I hope you are interested.

Thanks and sending you good thoughts.

I'm with Dan, LOL. Would LOVE to absorb some of your talent by holding one of your delightful sketches to my forehead.
